Its quite another to deliberately set out to find a filipina partner who must fulfil that specific role or automatically be excluded from consideration don't you think?

no--i dont agree with you John. i think the OP was being upfront and honest------just like my partner was with me when we first met. like lots of us guys--i'm just a means to an end.

There are definitely no double standards intend or meant, my request is a genuine one. In the past i have known a few Filipino women who i have always found to be kind caring and loving people, in fact about 30 years ago i was going out with one for about 6 months but for reasons i will not discuss on here it did not work out. I thank you for seeing that i have not tried to hide anything and have been open and honest with what i am looking for, maybe i have worded it badly but i am most definitely not looking for a slave, i happen to respect women.

So - am I correct then in assuming from your post that your Filipina partner made it clear that it was her goal to settle in the UK? And that its kind of an understanding between you both that you are both gaining advantages from the partnership?

in our case--this was in 2011---she was already here--in the last year of a 4 year student visa. she knew the score---wanted to settle here and bring her kids over to complete their education. the only way --was to find a suitable husband. we met through an online dating site.

look what i get out of the deal---- a beautiful loving woman--23 years younger than me. why else would she ever date an old git like me. i'm not daft.

well meaning friends and family have even suggested shes only using me as a way of getting a UK passport !!!!! really-----well who would have thought it lol.
