I found the same. If nothing else it is a big bonus in itself.

You are probably right Oss. But as things stand many 20 to 30 years aren’t even doing that and therefore end up paying for it in later life. Once your health is compromised as a consequence, that’s when carb restriction becomes more crucial.

The video I posted a few days ago really says it all.

I was going to post this anyway. From the book by Robert Lustig. The problem is the same in the U.K.

It is my belief that the 20 to 30 year olds will learn once they start buying the latest smart watches with the built in glucose monitors. They will see for themselves what various foods do and don’t do. Not all at once but there will be a trickle then a torrent.

Mrs Ash weighed in today at 51 kilos. That’s about 11 kilos since November. The figures are still heading in the right direction albeit it less rapidly. Not forgetting that she is only 4ft 10” tall.

On ED. Another huge benefit of carb restriction is ED reversal.

Studies like this one are becoming a regular thing now. It is becoming harder and harder to ignore them.

And like this one. The Dr that created this paper interviewed me around the same time she was interviewing the healthcare professionals.

My understanding is that sorting the belly out, especially if it has been extended as in child birth, surgery or beer drinking is the last piece of the journey. In some cases it may prove elusive. Dr David Unwin reports that many of his patients lose their belly fat on a lchf diet. However some serious gym work might be needed to tone things up.

You may end up being very healthy by continuing on your lchf journey but may not completely reverse the belly condition.

Oss mentioned vitamins. I talk to a lot of people on a carnivore way of eating. Not raw meat but cooked meat and nicely so. It has become obvious that as a species we don’t need all the rest as we can get all we need from the meat itself, even glucose (which is generated by the body) and especially through offal. I wouldn’t go carnivore myself unless I had to but the guys and girls that do prove it is sufficient.

Nose to tail eating in what ironically has been a Filipino way provides all the nutrients we need.

My wife used the phrase last night, “Rice is Life”. After 7 months without any and without going hungry she knows that isn’t true.

Notice how he doesn’t mention exercise. He knows that diet is the most important part of any weight loss journey.

    This is on tonight.

Over half the energy from food eaten in the UK is believed to come from ultra-processed products. There are concerns these foods lead people to eat more and put on weight. One in four adults in the UK is estimated to be obese, as well as one in five children aged ten to eleven.

“I wanted to find out what effect a diet high in ultra-processed food had on me”, says Dr Chris Van Tulleken, presenter of What are we Feeding our Kids? (BBC One Thursday 27 May 9pm). There is little research on how ultra-processed foods interact with our bodies, especially among children and teenagers, who eat more than the average adult.

Low Carb News from Around the U.K.

This gent below is a GP in Hampshire. He tweeted yesterday. Great results using lchf are being replicated all around the U.K. now. “LowcarbGP” is Doctor David Unwin who has 97 of his patients in drug free remission. These stats are telling the whole nation something, beyond the anecdotal.

And I loved this tongue in cheek follow up tweet.

That's basically what fat is for, even when you are quite lean you still have fat stores.

However just let me add a small point, the Hazda are modern age foragers so probably similar to pre farming human populations and today their average life expectancy at age 20 is about 39 years.

I always weigh myself in the morning, and 6 months ago I was 100 kg. Surprised this morning for the last 10 weeks I have been stuck in the low 80 kg now 79.8.
And not given up on drinking alcohol.:)

So are you suggesting life expectancy is reduced in these peoples because of their prefarming diet?
