I say that but it is actually a posh fish restaurant where they do a great version of fish and chips.

You could do that but you would need to ensure the UKBA didnt find out.

I spent a few years running a small business that I ran in between going offshore. Which is where I learnt to cook the books legally. However my ex wife was a bit slack, for her part and it didnt really make us more than a bit of extra pocket money. Plus I earnt far more being employed.

They would want to see bank statements. You would need to show where it came from.

It would probably be easier and less likely to fail if you just show your proper earnings.

Hi Gary and welcome here :welcome:

Also, don't worry for now about the £18,600.00 rule. The courts have asked for it to be lowered to £13k and the home office is appealing this.

yep ive seen the part about supreme court asking to lower th to 13k .As it happens im just on with a lot of paper work lol.Im probably going to work it so il land just above 19k net.In these times of hardship its not too bad as cant skim too much off anyway.Be dammed if im going over 73k though because unless you go way over its not worth doing. My other shop i used to have was just under 300k gross from memory the vat was about 65k a year but noway could you run it below 73k.

I wouldn't be admitting anything of the sort to anybody, especially on an open forum, one doesn't know who will read and may report.......
