It's been in the bag for you for a while, Jim.
    City are almost unstoppable.

Your squad is the envy of the world.
Even your reserve players would challenge for the title.

Its Citys title to lose and has been for a while, meanwhile the battle for Champions League places continue with Everton dropping a crucial 3 points to Villa which really means they have little or no chance now of catching Chelsea, Tottenham, West Ham and Liverpool cannot afford another defeat if they are to have any chance of qualifying, and Leicester need to do better than they did against a 10 man Saints if they are not going to implode like last season, however i do think the current top 4 will get the Champions League places, and at the bottom the three that have been there much of the season will go down, but my eyes will be focussed on WBA v Wolves tomorrow night a local derby where WBA have been something of a bogy team for Wolves for to many years now, and im fully expecting another loss that will be a succesful season for them in many fans eyes :D, however in my opinion it will be a number of years before they are in a position to mount a challenge to return to the PL, they have a number of loan signings who will leave, the saleable assetts will be sold, and the manager will leave, added to which the owner wont put in any more money and the Club has been up for sale for a while now but the owner wants to much money to sell mainly because he paid to much to buy them in the first place, so if anyone has a spare grand or so that should be enough to buy whats left after relegation ;).

    Very fair assessment, Heathen.
As an Everton fan, I don't think we deserve to play in Europe because of our dreadful home form.
I would like to see your team Wolves return to the form they showed last season.
I hope United win today being a toffee.

This link provides some interesting facts and supports your view your home form is worse than your away form.

We have been pathetic at home this season.
The Goodison crowd noise is well known and it seems we lose our cojones without it, as well as the away team not being intimidated too. o_O

I can well understand, and share the sentiment of people being extremely unhappy with the Glazers but there is a time and a place for protesting, and going about it the wrong way, as it has happened today, may unfairly earn UTD some sanctions.

let's hope the game is only postponed

Will today's protest hurt the Glazers.... No
Will today's protest achieve anything long term doubtful.
The Glazers have been disposed by many since they arrived at the club.

It's interesting the venom of many has been targeted at American owners.

Going for the Super league was a huge mistake and I have said all along that I disagree with what they did and that corrective action needs to be taken.

The Glazers and Woodward maybe good commercial people but they are not football people that's the crux of it.

I am sure many will come out screaming points deduction etc after today but that hurts nobody but the players and fans and certainly their actions today I could not support.
Protest yes but at the right time in the right place like a shareholders meeting.

Glazers out yes but who comes in will they be better

I am afraid that something is bound to happen on club level as punishment, as the violence descended to the point of a policeman being slashed in the face with a broken bottle
And I am not sure point deduction is going to be enough in the eye of some haters.
Incredible how the ill thought and executed actions of one person can negatively affect the multitudes..

The protest, due to some idiot, has taken a very ugly turn for the innocent.

I think Everton are missing the home fans, probably why a lot of home games from other teams are losing too.

Well done Man City, played like heroes all of them. Now it's Chelsea's turn tonight.
Hoping for an all English UEFA Champions cup.

I also find that baffling. Hate American owners, that don't understand the culture of English football, but have no issues with Billionaire Arab owners.

In Man Utd's case, it's not simply some anti-American sentiment. This bad feeling has been simmering since day one, hence why FC United was formed. The Glazer family have put the club in a lot of debt from the moment they acquired it. Prior to this, Man Utd didn't have any debt at all. They've used Man Utd as a business to line their own pockets. I don't begrudge anyone making money, but when you compare it to Abramovich or Abu Dhabi who have invested hundreds of millions of their own fortune into their clubs, you can see why Man Utd fans have never fully embraced Glazer ownership.

I don't think the American owners at Arsenal and Liverpool have saddled their clubs with much debt of any substance. If they had, I think the protests would have been very different. Man City and Chelsea fans are more willing to forgive their owners as they realise that without their owners, they would have had zero success in recent years. Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd would have likely been successful with or without their new owners. Tottenham is just the ginger haired step child.

Is another shock in store ?, currently Leicester 2-0 down at home to Newcastle, sometimes getting to a Cup Final impacts on League form, right now Leicesters defence has more holes than a colender, the loss of Evans in the warm up looks massive.

Paul it was a great game of football to watch, if Chelsea beat city they (Chelsea)could move into 3rd, and if West Ham beat Everton and Chelsea lose you will have Leicester on 63 and Chelsea and West Ham on 61.
    Interesting run in!

Manchester United’s debts, these date back to the takeover of the club by the Glazer family, who effectively made the club itself pay for their takeover by awarding themselves loans from the club, which they used to pay for the cost of buying the club. A clever trick if you can do it. Also we can note that the family have arranged things so that they get a huge dividend from the club each year, whether the club makes a profit or not. Again clever, but also unsustainable.

Some interesting debt figures here taken from this link

    https://sqaf.club/football-club-debt-list/

These are the ten clubs who owe the most based on their most recent published accounts.

But it’s telling that, of the top ten, half of them are from the most commercially-driven league in world football, England’s Premier League, while nine of them were clubs involved in the Super League:

    Position Club Debt
    1 Tottenham £1.2 billion
    2 Barcelona £1 billion
    3 Atletico Madrid £804 million
    4 Manchester United £771 million
    5 Inter Milan £757 million
    6 Juventus £752 million
    7 Real Madrid £651 million
    8 Arsenal £405 million
    9 Liverpool £386 million
    10 Everton £353 million

    It may well be so..........

It doesn't seem, tho, that Roman is taking any money out of the club for lining his own pockets.

But I understand that we, as common mortals, are precluded from actually finding out f it is so...........
