well--i'm intending to go sometime in september---for 6 weeks. any day is ok--i'm retired so its all the same to me. many offers under £400-----or is there a catch ? like a tax or surcharge at the airport ? air china seems to be the lowest price----half what some of you guys are paying. ( is there a toilet on board ? ) my g/f paid around £1000 end of july 2 years ago---her sister here in the UK bought the ticket. i know thats peak holiday season. i ended up paying for it--but i never did see the invoice. maybe there were other additions i wasnt aware of---lol !
http://www.skyscanner.net/transport...undaltsenabled=false&inboundaltsenabled=false I have used Southern China twice great airline
cheers--excellent. i had noticed philippines airlines on other sites--the idea of a direct flight certainly appeals---even though the fares are a bit more.
Its a good deal for sure. I'm sure bigmac will get himself a good deal too as he can choose when to fly being in the fortunate position of being retired
I just put in roughly, to be honest its a first for everything for me, first flight, first proper holiday and of course the most important is it is looking more likely to be first time I meet my gf in person
I don't think there are enough active members to have any clout but you never know, good publicity for them, every little helps.
