it certainly makes ££ sense to go get wed over there---the travel + insurance ££ is less than that first FLR fee with a fiancee visa

Well, you'll normally see the lowest quote, but of course the final figure will depend on the actual flight dates you choose. Being retired, as I am also, it does mean that we can use a bit of flexibility. For instance flying on a Tuesday may be cheaper. Just play about with dates and different flight times for instance, until you get the best price from that airline ...though I'd eat hay with a donkey if sub-£400 return was possible, so probably forget that. 400-550, should be plenty though, especially from London.

Delete your cookies before going back to the quote site, incidentally. :)

I think I am speaking for a lot of people when I say I wish I could experience my first time in the Philippines all over again, yourself and bigmac have a lot to look forward to, I feel a little jealous, nothing beats the first time :)

she looks like she's a nice girl. when i look at this photo i see someone genuinely wanting to show u how the dress she bought looks on her - no pretense even having the photo taken presumably at their living room with her mom/gran at the background.

people lie. not because they are filipinas u met online but because they lie. if u believe the love u think u both have is worth giving a chance then go for it. dont let other people's bad experience decide how u want to live ur life.

    good luck :)

spouse visa. costs the same--but it comes with leave to remain for the first 30 months----and she can work straight away.

fiancee visa means she would have to apply for further leave to remain--after the wedding here---within 6 months--before she can work. also costs£600--plus £300 same day service--plus £500 NHS surcharge

Go on your own Steven. I'm sure you're mum and dad are lovely but you'll have a super time without them :)
