We supplied my original payslips. And a letter of employment, ie a letter typed up by me and signed by my Managing Director confirming the basics of my employment details ie length of service, salary etc. I typed it up on company headed paper. He signed it. They did not need certifying. Hence we didnt have them certified in any way.
My husband just started his new job last November.. But we can already provide his 6 months payslips.. Is it ok?
5.1. Category A: With current employer for 6 months or more – person residing in the UK 5.1.1. Where the applicant’s partner (and/or the applicant if they are in the UK with permission to work) is in salaried employment at the date of application and has been with the same employer for at least 6 months prior to the date of application, they can count their gross annual salary towards the financial requirement. In doing so they must have been paid throughout the period of 6 months prior to the date of application at a level of gross annual salary which equals or exceeds the level relied upon in the application. 5.1.2. Gross income from non-salaried employment will be counted on the same basis as income from salaried employment where the person has been with the same employer for 6 months or more at the date of application.
When you pay for your application on the VFS site there is an option to pay for a premium service where you can submit your documents in more of an orderly manner, not much queuing and the like, in addition you get to choose your submission date online also. Good luck with the application
It will not do any harm to your application if you have a letter from the loved one stating that he will look after your financial requirements whilst you are on the settlement visa route.
The Biometrics will be done on the day you submitted your papers to VFS. It's in a small room at VFS, basically.
Thanks anne.. I have question regarding my accomodation.. My husbands working place is in london.. he write in my application that i will be staying in my mother in laws house for awhile, while my husband lookong for our place in london.. Is it possible? Is there any chance that will grant my visa?
you need to be living with your husband---in suitable accommodation. if youre not able to prove you are living together--joint bills etc--this will cause you problems later--at FLR stage
if you dont have suitable accommodation when you apply for your visa--your application could fail. best to get somewhere sorted first before you apply. the visa application form is clear about this.
