What bigmac says is true. You need to provide full details of your accomodation. They won't grant a visa without it.
see--this could have been another £££££ donation to the treasury if the right advice had not been sought. there must be soo many applications rejected because people dont seek help.
LYDEE, if you are unsure with the shared accommodation situation then put in a lot of effort to convince yourself that you are submitting enough evidence to satisfy the UKVI that you have a satisfactory place to stay. You could submit a survey showing the accommodation is adequate to house everyone who is living there, a letter from the mother in law is a must stating that you are living there while you find yourself somewhere else to stay and that you can stay there until such time you find alternative accommodation. Its all about convincing the UKVI that you have adequate accommodation and you wont be out on the street during your visa period. Good luck, you should be okay if you get the accommodation details sorted out.

hi, may i ask the content of your letter? im confused on how and what to write on the letter.. thanks in advance!
@JFC Joint Letter or Joint Statement The joint statement was used as a sort of "timeline" based description (almost a story) of our relationshiop from how we met, how our relationship developed including the distance element of the relationship, my visits to the Philippines, right through to marriage and then to the point of visa application. Followed by our plans and aspirations for the future. This was carefully pulled together to tie in with the information generated on the main application form. It was creative in its style but factual in its content. In the accompanying photo section I tried to select photos that followed a timeline. It was written by me but signed by us both. My understanding at the time was that this document was used to emphasise to the ECO that ours was an ongoing relationship that was genuine and subsisting. Its an opportunity to tell your joint storyline in such a way that it supports your claim in your application, of a sustained relationship (and not a scammed one). Ours was just over a page long, about a page and a half.
Sorry guys for asking too much almost everyday, its just that whenever we resolved a problem another one comes along..my husband (sponsor) passed his NTL application last friday so i've read that it takes atleast 3 weeks for the UK office to process it.. we had a huge fight coz it'svery frustrating for me to wait for another 3 months for us to pass my application.. do we really have to wait for his NTL and BRP approval?i have a copy of his passport and visa. i haven't seen my husband for 3 yearsalready.. it's quite depressing.. thank you so much
@bigmac NTL - No Time Limit Application For No Time Limit (NTL) And A Biometric Immigration Document By Someone Who Already Has Indefinite Leave To Enter Or Remain In The UK he needs to applyNTL so he can process BRP (Biometrics residence permit)
@bigmac do we really need to pass my husband's (sponsor) original passport as one of the requirements?
A photo copy will be fine, you can also have it signed as original by a UK solicitor just to be 100%, it only costs about £5 to get this done at a participating Solicitors office.
I would just get the biometric page signed (page with picture and passport number) and photo copy the pages showing entry stamps to the Philippines and any other destinations you have been to together, all the evidence helps. Send any plane tickets/boarding passes too to correspond to the passport stamps.
