Spouse Visa Result

It's been 4 days since you received the sms right?waiting for the delivery is very stressful. All we need to do is to pray for a positive result. I'm just a bit worried because i haven't received an email from the vfs or UKVI. Please update us again for the result..Good luck to all of us..

Hi everyone, just a quick question. If my bf and I get married here in Manila, and we want to go and settle in UK, is it required that we should have been living together beforehand? Appreciate any response.

The only requirement is you two must have met in person.

Both sms and e-mail came from VFS.
I've read on here they can be a bit inconsistent with that service so I wouldn't worry too much.
Our documents now in 2go office, I've just seen that on their website tracker. Didn't get delivered to my wife yesterday so she'll be going to collect in the morning.
Edit: If you've chosen to have courier service from 2go, use the tracker on their website entering your GWF********* number.

My wife got her visa a couple of days ago, but she found out from her friends about the CFO. What is all that stuff about? Is it necessary?

Welcome to the forum Zach, without the CFO seminar and the all important CFO sticker in the passport your wife aint going nowhere, book an appointment as soon as possible.

Oh right. Can she not just hop on the plane, after all she has the visa and all the hassle that went with it, I might add.

I could not adam and eve it when she told me about the CFO.

She cannot leave the Philippines with a settlement visa in her passport without the CFO sticker, she will be stopped from flying.
