hi zach--welcome to the site. as Timmers posted--she must attend the CFO seminar and get the all important sticker. just an annoying formality. but there is probably a waiting list for an appointment. dont book a flight till she gets the sticker.
Oh shoot. I was going to go ahead with booking the flight pretty soon. I thought my wife was pulling my leg when she told me.
my (now) wife got her fiancee visa in february--but then had to wait 2 weeks to get a CFO appointment. soon as she got it she messaged me--and i booked a flight straight away--a few days later.
skyscanner--i logged in every day watching the prices. i think saudi air offered the cheapest flights at the time--one stopover--about 19 hours end to end.
Good Day All!! So happy to say my wife got her visa. I didn't post much on here but the info I've read as proved to be invaluable, thanks guys. I will read the thread on cfo requirements but quick question if you don't mind.... my wife attended cfo seminar back in 2008 after we married and she was getting passport with 'new' surname. She still has certificate, so it's just the sticker she needs...? Is an appointment necessary or just turn up to their office? Thank you.
No need for an appointment just go to the CFO with the CFO certificate and the passport/visa. I believe once you have the certificate it never runs out (lifetime certificate), just check the pages below from the official CFO website; http://www.cfo.gov.ph/index.php?opt...tid=110:frequently-asked-questions&Itemid=858
Good Day!I'll be flying this saturday and i just want to ask if what documents do I need to present to the UK immigration upon arrival..Are they very strict for the spouse visa holder?thanks in advance.
Yes..you do.everyone has to. vfs global handle all visa applications on behalf of the British embassy..they take your fingerprints when you take all your documents in after you apply online.
