Very practical list! Thanks @Maley :)
Can you suggest a good bank which can be easily accessed in the Philippines and UK? I'm with BPI, and I've read somewhere that there's BPI Europe but the office is in London and they seem to have a lot of requirements which means I won't be able to open one before I get married and FLR application.
For the stuffs, I'm slowly disposing those which will just rot when I leave like books.
And I will surely change my SSS, Pag-ibig and Philhealth status.

Your list is very helpful. If there are more, please feel free to add! :)

HSBC. They have a minimum balances, but you'll easily be able to open a local UK account if you already have a HSBC PH one.

And rice. I think I will surely lose weight without my rice. I still need to learn how to cook British foods. :blackeye:

How about jeans and undies? Will it be easy to find some good sizes of these in the UK?

I'm missing the fish and chips. I used to eat twice a week when I was in the UK but my partner keeps telling me to slow down with it coz I might get fed up with it eventually. But honestly, I still love it. :D

    Sorry for inserting :D

Please do. I wanted to read as much as possible. I wanted to be prepared (if possible).
My fiance told me fish and chips is the typical food of Brits. Is it that good? I'm interested now. :D

Fish and chips is something we normally eat on a Friday evening so we don't have to cook, either that or Chinese or Indian food, note that Indian food is the most popular food in the UK.

I'm so sick of Indian food. Hahaha. There is a fish and chips shop near the station I go to for work. They're really good.

Whereas for Chinese, there aren't any good ones where I live. I have to travel to Soho eat out.

I don't really cook much. Living off takeaways.

    Try ENGLISH BREAKFAST!!

A little more for some items, but don't forget, we also earn a lot more money here.

The English breakfast is always a winner, I've been away with the missus this week and we've twice had breakfast at Weatherspoon's, good value for money and I prefer their breakfast to a hotel breakfast.

We had a terrible Indian takeaway the other week, that's the problem, not every one is a winner :(
