I did the same thing with @Brom27. Screenshot of photos and pasted 2-3 photos in a4 paper using MS word (each photo has a brief description).

Thanks for that Brom 27, another question, does a standard visit visa allow her to go out of the country for a weekend, and then return ?.

A visit visa is multiple entry so she can come in and out of the country.

Her visit visa allows her to return home and back to the UK while the visa is valid, if you are asking can she visit nearby other countries for the weekend the answer is no she will need a Schengen visa for the country she wants to visit.

Following on from the above, whilst filling in the application forms, it only offers Manila as the appointment centre at this address
Mezzanine Floor, Unit M01 Ecoplaza Building 2305 Chino Roces Ave. Extension Makati City 1231 Manila PHILIPPINES. are there no other options, this is for a standard visit visa, i thought there was somewhere in Cebu as an option but its not giving me this option.

This is new to me. I tried to check as well if there is one in Cebu. They seem to have changed it as it only shows Manila.

yeah thats exactly what Im getting, it seems crazy to me that VFS has a office in Cebu, but they dont do visit visa applications, obviously a cost cutting exercise for them, but not for my Fiancee :( plus she has never been to Manila, and didnt really want to be going there. :frust:

Try clicking I cannot attend at one of these application centres see where it takes you! On the VFS website against cebu as a centre it's got USER Pay in brackets don't know if it's relevant or not but you may now have to pay to use Cebu since they introduced the scanning system into there.

The Visa pay site has a totally different pricing structure, its so darned confusing, think she may have to go to Manila :frust: Form filling and document checks are only available in Manila, everything seems to point to there.

Mattecube, I dont think its possible to give a link, Brom27 Screenshotted it or took a pic for post 47, the reason being it only comes up during the form filling, after entering a password relevant to the application, but 100% its only offering Manila. VFS Global https://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/philippines/ seems to be for settlement & citizenship Visas, i cannot find any information relevant to standard visit visa except for the following, which is under frequently asked questions,
The eligibility requirements for the Priority Visa (PV) service will be extended to include all non-settlement visa categories, including all visitors and Tier 4 students.

Ok thanks for the link it is the same one as I get also if I Google " visit visa uk cebu" I get the same link.
I am convinced that my previous post is correct and under FAQ it talks about an additional charge for Cebu and the standard charge being added together so you pay one fee.
See charge on this link for approximately pesos 11592 also see the text below it talks about visit visa.

    https://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/philippines/user_pay_services.html

Also on FAQ look at question 4 and question 11 (I know there not numbered count down)look at the Q and look at the response.

As I say in my previous post and further research reading I believe it is accurate what info I have given you , I firmly believe you can get a visit visa at Cebu I think there would be lots of Internet comments if you couldn't!

    Firstly thank you guys for your help with this; Mattecube I have come to the same conclusion as you, however on the VFS site i cannot find book an appointment, at the top of the page where it says book an appointment this is only for citizenship applications, i know because i registered but it only offers Overseas citizenship, there are no other options on the drop down list here;
    Country of Residence * Philippines
    VAC* Cebu
    Application Type* Overseas Citizen
    Category* Overseas Citizenship

Then under the Heading where to apply, it shows Cebu (user pay)
    Gives the address, and how to get there including a map, which is all very useful, then gives this note;
Note - Applicants who wish to lodge their UK visa application at the visa application centre in Cebu will be required to pay an additional service fee of GBP 55 online.

    Opening Hours:
Application submission - with a prior appointment:
    Monday to Friday
    07:00 - 14:00

Walk-in Without Appointment - Submission only
    Monday to Thursday
    15:00-16:00

Application submission – Prime Time Appointment (This VAS service is offered presently in Manila only)
    Monday to Thursday
    16:00 – 18:00

Now all that is perfectly understandable, but it doesnt tell me is where i can book appointment, except for the citizenship as i have shown above.
all that is from the VFS, with numerous links back to the UKVI site, now here is the crunch .i have to pay the Visa application fee direct to UKVI because VFS will not accept payment for a Visa application fee.

    Before you continue
You should only move to the next page if you have checked your answers and you are ready to submit your application. Once you select ‘Continue to Worldpay’ you will not be able to return and edit your application.

Thats my worry as you can see, i wont be able to return back to the application once i progress to pay, i cannot progress to the pay page without selecting the Manila option earlier in the application, and for sure she will then have to go to Manila, unless it offers me the Cebu (User Pay) Choice on the payment pages, its all very confusing.

I continued with the application, and paid the Fee, no alternative option of going to Cebu,
Mezzanine Floor, Unit M01 Ecoplaza Building
    2305 Chino Roces Ave. Extension
    Makati City 1231
    Manila
    PHILIPPINES

So unless we cancel thats what she will be doing, but not happy about it.

That's a shame that you weren't able to book her for Cebu.

I was able to do my two visit visa and fiance visa applications in Cebu with no problem.

The VFS Global site really is missleading with references to Cebu, i got so frustrated with the site trying to find where to book appointments for visit visas, then its just kept linking me back to Gov/UK site, even when i paid at the Gov/UK site even that linked me back to VFS Global registration which then only gives the citizenship option, so basically you go round and round in circles, then end up back at Manila. :frust:
