Philippines passport in maiden name and british passport in married name - No. Have to change name in philippines passport to married name or apply for British passport in maiden name. Your wife may have got lucky getting british passport in new married name whilst having passport in old married name. They should have picked up as part of the process and not issued a British Passport.

My last word on this, my wife didn’t get lucky I doubt anybody does when dealing with government officials.
So no she didn’t get luckyWe/She applied within the spirit of the guidelines for a UK passport and she was successful and now carries and uses duel citizenship.

What will happen when her Philippines passport runs out in about 7 years she will then apply to have a new Philippines passport in her married name in preparation for her UK passport running out in 9 years time.

Guys I've just paid for my fiance visa on the UK gov website. Can you tell me how do I scan and upload all my documents and to which website do I do this. I can't seem to find anything regarding uploading all my evidence/documents.

Also, check whichever email address you provided for the application (including Junk) which will give the application Reference number etc.

Can anyone help me get the pdf of this form, I can't find it online anywhere

We did application back in 2018 when it was a definite requirement. Did a search on gov.uk and brings up links to appendix 1, 4 and 5 but no appendix 2. Had expected it would be there if required. Not sure if would have old version from 2018 when we did spouse visa but if really desperate could have a look.

Assume you have filled out the online forms - did they ask for your financial information as may have moved into the online application. Would have been employment or savings details unless you are using one of the less common methods. Should also detail what is required when you fill out the forms so would be interesting to know if it is listed.

Appendix 2 is part of VAF4a form and is required to be completed it looks like it was condensed in 2018 when the scanning of documents was introduced.

The form is not available on the UK gov website and appendix 2 is now a form for armed forces. I have read numerous things saying that it is no longer required however I'm not certain. If anyone can help me get the form on here I would be so grateful

then I researched to refresh my memory appendix 2 and it came up with (armed forces) we certainly completed it for my wifes 2015 and daughters 2017 and my wife took it to the biometrics appointment along with a copy of her application form VSFI BUT ONLY START THE FORM PART 1

I've read online that it's no longer required. When I made my application viathe ukvi website all the questions they ask is the same questions that was on the old appendix 2 form. It would be nice to have this clarified for certain however the form isn't even available on the UK gov website therefore I can only assume it was condensed into their online application.

It’s on the Uk gov assert publishing site look at the second link address it says Uk gov within the link address I posted also look at the form generated by the link it bears the UK crown stamp!
