    So many places eh.

I was at Fatima in 2004 ( company work ) and managed to have a look one Sunday morning and was amazed. The whole region was very nice indeed.

Probably a better environment than Lourdes! Which to my mind is now far to commercialised but the girls want to go so be it.
Portugal been on my list for ages but not the commercialised areas.

Apparently becoming the norm for Brits to 90 days in Europe then 90 days in Morocco then back to Spain.

These places, such as the Costa del Sol can be a great springboard and base for other places of interest.

I spent 3 years in Libya which was enough of North Africa for me. :D

We have just applied for our NHS certificate for the Covid19 jabs. Apparently the little cards you get at the jab centre aren’t recognised in Spain.

You can apply for the paper version on the NHS App I believe (not the NHS Covid app) as well as having the QR code displayed in the NHS App.

"Should be" we were always going unless France went red..
Can't help but think although it has no impact on me that the traffic light report system has been timed to limit movement, ie school holidays maybe I am being cynical be interesting to see what happens in the fall.

I tried it myself, it's not actually a paper version but rather a PDF however the QRCode expires after 30 days, not sure if the one you have ordered will expire too?

This is what mine looks like as usual I have cut identifying data from the image.

I guess they will be the same.

I am currently investigating the need to get a PCR test before flying back to the U.K. from Spain. Just been brought in. We have loads of time and lots of time to cancel. But we are looking into it.

Later. Found a place at the airport that does them.

Something I was explaining to Mrs Ash today. It is well known that the flu vaccine doesn’t last a full year. That’s partly why they recommend getting it at the start of the autumn and no earlier. Following on from that, one wonders if a booster might become part of the Covid 19 requirement for those who had the Covid 19 jab yonks back.

Just done that. Mine looks a tiny bit different but is essentially the same. Mine also expires after 30 days.

To update the bar code just log back in, it says.

Slowly unravelling all this though no doubt it will have changed several times over before December. We were looking at another holiday at half term too but decided to hang fire on that and just stick to the one at Christmas. Didn’t want double trouble. :D
