    Hi Keith,

Hope you and your lovely family are well.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention - I missed this in the news.
Looking forward to seeing it now.

I see that good old Tommy Robinson, a Gentleman who has worked hard to draw attention to the Muslim rape gangs and ensure that justice was carried out, was arrested whilst livestreaming outside Leeds court yesterday.

Refused access to his lawyer, tried in front of a kangaroo court, then slammed into Hull jail for 13 months with a clampdown on reporting.

    Tommy Robinson injustice

    It is justice not injustice.

    Not entirely a "clampdown"

"Hope not Hate", the extremist organisation that seems to foster Hatred rather than Hope, are you kidding?

If he broke the law why did he not receive a fair trial?

More to the point, how did he break the law?

    Agreed Keith.

However there were reporting restrictions imposed, an immediate removal of many existing news reports example and then a few limited articles have been allowed through, most likely due to the protests against the way this has been handled.

Tommy is not afraid of speaking the truth, as he sees it, as did such people as Sarah Champion the labour MP who was booted out of the party for trying to highlight the cultural child abuse problem.

What has happened to her now?

What did Tommy Robinson do exactly to get the muslim rape gangs arrested? I thought he turned up AFTER the muslim CPS lead filed charges and thet had been arrested. He just jumped on the islamophobic band wagon. He's yet to turn up at a white paedophile's trial though.

Racists very rarely change their behaviour.
He is on the road to a life of increasing incarceration.

    Why should he?

Leigh McMillan has been tried for a one-off crime, found guilty, and imprisoned, thank goodness.

A totally different kettle of fish than the institutional failure by the police and social services over a number of years, that allowed over 1,400 white children to be sexually abused by (mainly) Pakistani rape gangs.

Over 54,000 sexual offences against children were recorded by the police in the UK in 2015/16. Over 90%of sexually abused children were abused by someone they knew. Around a third of sexual abuse is committed by other children and young people. All sexual abuse is terrible but statistical context not islamophobia would help children the most.

"dear old Tommy Robinson" must think he has made a BIG mistake now.
It was funny watching him walking around the Leeds court playing up to the other racists, saying "we're not doing anything wrong are we?"
    What a plonker.

    Good point.

I have no interest in questioning your figures, one can only wonder why it took the authorities so long to pick up on such a large abuse gang when so many reports were being made.

As for Islamophobia, if that "accusation" is used merely to prevent people reporting such attrocities then that is truly awful.

The cover ups which have happened in councils around the country is truly PC zealotry out of control. Clearly, there is something endemic and culturally incompatible with the UK whereby dozens of groups of people would get together and decide that abusing vulnerable girls was a good idea. Lone wolves we have to accept will happen. Groups of people doing it together on an industrial scale is a different matter.

But, to try and portray Stephen Laxley as some kind of white knight or savior is completely wrong. He's a **** stirring trouble maker whose purpose is to inflame things and keep his grubby little carcass in the spotlight.

I have always had a problem with racists, anywhere and anytime.
Perhaps travelling so much gave me a truer idea of the world than those within the narrow confines of the UK. Most people in the UK have travelled these days but there is still a lack of worldliness and this is is alarming; perhaps this is because most tourists don't stray off the beaten path too much. They must have stayed within their "own" and not made much effort to expand their knowledge.
In the 70 countries I have been to, the people I have met have, almost to a person, been non-racist.
I find it baffling that some people who have travelled have retained such a blinkered racist viewpoint, because if they had only mixed with as many people as possible, their viewpoint would have been altered for the better.
It is their loss however but I feel it is important to occasionally drop a truth-seed into their conversations to promote a healthier world view. We are more multiculturally tolerant than we were thirty years ago and this is promising.

Sometimes people who try to engage me in conversation in work or elsewhere are swiftly cut off when their narrative quickly strays into racism.
They want validation but I just walk away and tell them "sorry I can't listen to this".

At the end of the day, it is my children who I have to guide and that started when they could first speak.
Thankfully the short term news about racists like Tommy Robinson will fade away as he will.

There was definite fear of being accused of being racist at the time in my opinion. I also think the police looked at the victims and their lifestyle choices etc and decided they were not really worth it. Middle class white girls would have received much more attention.
