@Methersgate At long last, I can truly say, CONGRATULATIONS!

Valid from 04/10/2015 - so I assume that is the day you requested for it to start?

Yes, that was the "date of travel" requested.

CFO fixed for Monday 12 as I asked Andrew to book it and he was slow to do it.

Back to the CFO again on Thursday, as sure enough they asked for a bit of paper that she hadn't got with her.

Bad phone line, but I think she said it was her fault because she took along "the wrong" Decree Absolute.

Just off the phone: the "missing document" was indeed the original Decree Absolute.

Kaye was asked about my ex-wife; she said that her name is Ruby, that she is from Bataan and that I have custody of the children.

    "Has she met the children?"

She said that she has met them both on Skype and has met the younger one in person, on a visit to the Philippines.

That was it; she was told to go and fall in line for her passport sticker.

It struck both of us that the counsellor who interviewed K was remarkably sensible. These were just the right questions to ask.
