Thank you Timmers for your attention regarding my vignette replacement process, it is very helpful information you extended to me. Still confuses me to choose between a TOC or Transfer Vignette to a New Passport.
It's stated in the ECB17 guidance:- Have you tried talking with the VFS folks at the Application Centre ? They used to be very helpful. Hopefully they will remain so They may be able to explain the process.
im crossing my fingers out t receive the same email. as i did my biometrics last sep. 14. i am so happy for all of you.
Received this email today at 3pm...now I am so nervous and worried. Dear XXXXXX XXXXXX Application Reference : GWFXXXXXXXXXXA decision has been made on your application and your documents are being returned to the Visa Application Centre (VAC). You will be contacted again by the VAC once these documents have been received and they are ready for you to collect. If you have chosen to have your documents couriered to you, these will be despatched by the VAC once they have been received. Please do not attend the application centre until you have been contacted by the VAC. UKVI contact details can be found at https://www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-outside-ukUK Visas and ImmigrationBritish Embassy Manila****** Guys, pls anyone can tell me if this is positive or refused?
@ginger the result could be either way - the same email is sent. My wife got her decision two days after that email was sent. She stayed off work for the day to receive the documents from the courier. It can take longer if you live out in the sticks somewhere.
We got the sane email almost a year ago on 29th September 2014, my wife was here with me in the UK 6 days later - good luck and I feel for you having to wait again!!
Ginger - could you tell me when you submitted your biometrics at VFS? My fiancee did hers on the 30th July and we are still waiting..
Thank u stevepqr. I hope to receive a positive result as I am now 7 months pregnant and my partner and his family are really waiting and excited for me to be able to give birth there as it is his 1st baby. Fingers crossed.
Book your CFO as soon as possible as you are close to the "no fly zone" if I may put it like that. Good luck!
W Sorry but I honestly don't understand what u mean about "no fly zone:. I actually done with my CFO seminar, i just need to go back for the sticker once my visa arrives.
i understand you can get the cfo sticker on the day you fly at the airport----but its a bit last minute. i think to wait for the visa--with its 30 day deadline--and then do the CFO nonsense--and go back for the sticker---just adds a load of hassle.
It depends @bigmac In my wife's case case, she lives in Cebu and did the seminar around the date of the VFS Global submission. There is a CFO office in Cebu. She already has her visa, but it is not in-date yet so she will go back to the CFO on 15 October to get her stamp - the day the visa become valid.
