Hello ginger. I hope all goes well with your flight especially that your expecting a baby. Have you filled out the required form from PAL? Just read their guidelines regarding expectant mothers.

My wife flew @ 32 weeks. She had to put her feet up once we arrived in Pinas as her ankles had swollen. Went down on our second day there. Try to walk about on the plane as much as you can.

Having fleece socks and wearing them (without shoes) while walking around on the plane would also give you much comfort on a long-hour flight. :like:

    Hi Everyone,

I would like to share our experience with you, and maybe this could help others and help us too along the way. :)

    1) Annulment

I filed for my annulment in March 2013. I got the court decision in June 2014; a total of 15 months in process. Filing the documents took about 3months and that included the NSO Marriage Certificate with Annulment Annotation.

    2) Visa Application for Unmarried Partner

We filed for Unmarried Partner visa on Sept 24, 2014. We got a negative Result on Nov 11, 2014. The Reason for denial were 1) Genuine and Subsisting Relationship and 2) We have not lived together for 2 years.

    3) Appeal at the Tribunal

We appealed the decision in November 2014, and got a hearing date of June 4, 2015. We got the result after 2 weeks and again, the result was negative. The Judge and the ECO said that we applied for the wrong visa and so we applied again.

    4) Fiancée Visa

And now, again, we applied for a visa. Hopefully we get this right. This time, I applied for my visa together with my daughter (from a previous relationship). We filed our application (and biometrics) yesterday, October 12, 2015 at VFS Manila. And now…. We wait.

We have been reading the posts on this forum and it has helped us a lot, has given us confidence and made things easier for me knowing that we are not the only one going through this roller coaster ride.

I’d like to say congratulations to the many couples who have gone through hell and succeeded. I am so happy for you and your happy/excited posts make things worthwhile.

And for those who have got a negative news- Don’t give up, keep trying. Your relationship is so much stronger and better than what the ECO thinks. And we will definitely prove them that. ;)

And to others like us, who are anxiously waiting for the result of your visa application, Well….. there’s going to be long and stressful weeks/months ahead of us. But hey, at least you’re not alone. Besides, your significant other is definitely worth everything.

As for me, I’m going to spend that time reading through all the posts in here. …… Waiting and dreading the result of our visa. Haha (my positivity only lasts 15minutes)

about the same timescale for my fiancees annulment--about 15 months--which included 3 months of delays because the judge wasnt at court 3 times in a row.

are you at liberty to say what yours cost ? ours was £2000. or about 140,000 pp.

Doesn't say of either approval or a refusal. You normally hear from them in the next 2-3 days.

Hoping for a positive result, martian. All the best!

I think the e-mail doesn't give any assurance. Just try to relax, breathe in, breathe out.

Have you availed the courier service?

I bet you'll be peeking through your windows every now and then. :D

I can still remember the ecstatic feeling when I got the e-mail from the Manila hub. My then fiancé had gone speechless when I forwarded the message.

Hi! This is the "results" email for your visa. If you signed up for your visa to be delivered, you should get it within the next 2-3 days. If you didn't, your passport & documents will be available at the VFS where you applied, the day after you receive the email :) Hoping for the best!
