Might have a chance if they beat Senegal then France.
Then we have the Argies or Brazil waiting in the final.
    Probably!

It's two weeks to the final.
    How far will England progress?
I think we will beat Senegal and then France in the Quarter Finals is a big test.

Beating France is a big test, If they did they could potentially have Spain in the semi's.

Believe it or not,I had a brief interaction with a German national today that said to me how much he loves London.
He said he loves London now particularly because there are very few English there anymore.
I think he was joking as a counter to my references about the Germans recent defeat over there in the dessert.
Must admit though,he had me. How can you argue with facts like that!
Makes me think though. In the long run, Did we really win the war?

Not to start an argument but I returned from London a few days ago, after 5 days work at Olympia's Ideal Home Exhibition ans I must admit that since I started doing this show, 20 years ago, London demographics have changed, in my opinion, to a worrying level.
Of course I am only talking for myself, for the duration I was very wary of my surroundings, especially while returning to the hotel in the evenings and many times I had to turn around and check if anybody at all was too close to me.

I agree... looked a bit dodgy for us until Henderson got the first but after that the younger talent/quality we have in the team showed.

If Southgate can stop Mbappe we have a chance, unfortunately defence is not our strongest suit.

We've waited over 50 years for another World Cup win.
Three more games to win if we're going to do it again.

England have conceded 2 goals, one of them was a penalty. Stones and Maguire are playing well together. Both Walker and Shaw both playing well.
England may have to play 5 at the back though.

Five at the back: Stones, Maguire, Walker, Shaw and Coady (A proper leader of men - I know I'm biased but he is the main defender at Everton - very fast and has a huge vocal presence).
Walker and Coady to mark Mbappé.

I dont think man marking is the answer the French team is littered with talent Giroud etc, the French could handicap themselves and put Pogba on haha(I know he is injured and not there) A strong presence across the front of the back four!

Hmmm... TTA Tackle success rate 63% ... GA 17 for Pickford and Coady

Adding another defender would weaken our attack... perhaps our best form of defence... :D
