I think that Brighton result will keep Everton up, Leeds, Saints and one of the East Midland clubs to go down.
It’s going to be interesting! Saints yes, but looking at the teams to play for each club might be that they all finish in there current position as of today! ….and as for my team zero progress!!
What a game last night. Got up at 3am City were dominating then Real hit us on the counter attack, great goal. It was like a game of chess Real were very organized at the back Haaland never got a sniff. Real players trying to get City players booked by diving on the floor and surrounding the ref waving invisible cards at the ref. Then enter the master KDB Kevin hit a great goal from outside of the box. We are halfway there, first we have to go to goodison park a tricky fixture.
I am going for 1-3 to city Pep will want to try and put a 4 point gap before Arsenal play(sorry Mike) Everton will stay up though as the fixtures this weekend will reflect an as they are status today
Maybe it's not enough considering your titles and cup wins when AF was manager, but you have changed managers many times and you are in 4th place, John. That would make most fans happy!
Perhaps you're right, John, but obviously I am hoping to draw or win after the best away win we've had in many years. We finally have a striker that we can hit balls to who can do something with it.
Yes Jim but if we beat you we will almost certainly stay up with two games to go. Goodison will be rocking after that win at Brighton.
Hope you stay up but not on Man City game, that would make it who blinks first scenario with Arsenal with three games to go.
I think Pep will Rest some players for Sundays game. Big game against Real Madrid on Wednesday. Good job City have a large squad.
You're probably right, Jim. You've got a game in hand over Arsenal and you are a point ahead of them. He is a very good manager and he has a big wish to win the CL with City.
He is chasing the treble to emulate the red half of Manchester, he may rest some at the start of the game but the big guns will be available to him depending how the game is going, he will be going in for a win! The pressure of the treble is on him.
May's football will certainly be interesting, John. I am just hoping Everton stay up and the new investment comes with strings i.e. get better people on the board who can stop Moshiri from making bad football mistakes. Who'd be a betting man? Not me!
Yes, John. Alan Gilzean (Spurs) Ray Wilson, Mike Lyons and John Hurst (Everton - standing, turning away). Gordon West (Everton - on the deck) Great old photo, and those pitches back then - with leather caseball and stitches
