Well, City made that first half an easy affair. They make the game of football look easy. Not to worry though, DCL is off and we have our secret weapon Neil Maupay on
So it's down to the wire again as it was last year. It was the last home game v Palace last year and it's the last home game against Bournemouth on Sunday.
Really hard to call which way it will twist! Will Moyes do something with his team with the Euro final WHU coming up, will Spurs show up, Bournemouth will, status quo will be the end as is now
And breathe @aposhark. To good to go down mid table if you keep Dyche! status quo on positions as predicted
Well that went well, John. I hope the owner and the new investors, MSP Sports Capital, make changes on the board and move ahead with a coherant plan and make the right transfers from now on. Dyche has done well.
I would focus on the positive, his name is Dyche a good honest football man, forget all the fancy names the board want Dyche will stabilise the club and build, his interview after the game spoke volumes!! IMO
If you have time to listen to the crowd in the video, John, it is clear to hear and see that the Goodison crowd feel very strongly about their hatred of the board and their wish to not be in the same situation as we have been in for the last two years, even after a tremendously uplifting result. We do look at the positives and all the pressure that the supporters have put on the board shows that we know where the problem lies. For all the money that Moshiri has invested in Everton, the board should have advised him how to better steer the ship instead of letting it become rudderless and drift without a proper course. Captains need to be told to let the officers and crew do their jobs with minimal interference. Moshiri made his money in a different industy (metals, mining, telecoms, technology and internet sectors) and knows very little about football. He interfered and it almost cost him dearly. The board of directors haven't been to Goodison Park since last January! Everton escape relegation: 'Reboot needed or it will be temporary reprieve' https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footbal...ked briefly in,a highly charged Goodison Park.
