I'm disappointed you have not used the bird picture I posted, its a picture of a "Great Tit." :)

Having said that, the picture of Mrs May has already grown on me, I quite like it, especially as she appears to be crying in the picture :like:

I figured there were enough tits on the internet. They attract the wrong kind of clientele. I may change my picture a bit more regularly now.

Utter rubbish but then what else can one expect from a rabid Anglophobe such as Salmond.

I am sure you'll be delighted to know that 30 Tory MPs and agents are facing criminal charges for breaking spending rules at the 2015 General Election irrespective of whether they are standing this time or not. This could result in some MPs being forced to stand down thus potentially triggering a series of by elections over the next couple of years as the cases are heard and convictions obtained.

I suggest that your Mrs Miller really reconsiders her anti-Brexit scheme to avoid any possible accusations of mass voter manipulation.

Well, yes, quite! If I recall correctly in one of Andrew's post referendum rants he let slip that his elder son was unable to vote (Remain) in the referendum because he was serving aboard ship at the time. I didn't have the heart to point out the bleeding obvious - that said son could - and should - have appointed a proxy to vote on his behalf at any election for which he can not be present; we can't be blamed for his unpreparedness. I note that Andrew now has the proxy of I'm sure a rather chastened and apologetic seafaring son!

Quite right. You won't catch her singing the German anthem "Ode to Joy".

You're already getting extra in Malta - you can't have any more.

Here's Andrew Marr's interview with Jeremy Corbyn shown on BBC One this morning:

To paraphrase: make friends with ISIS, consign a few thousand skilled Scots to the dole queue and support Putin by withdrawing British troops working with their NATO counterparts in Eastern Europe.

    Go, Jeremy, Go!!

    Away.

Talk about Champagne Socialists: Jeremy's brain, Seamus Milne, joined Len McCluskey at the "Boot and Flogger" to celebrate his (McCluskey's) dodgy win in the Unite election with £51 bottles of Champagne served in tankards.

A selective summary there. 6 million people not earning the living wage - I'll need to fact check that. 1 million not knowing what their wage will be from one week to the next, I'll fact check that too. I know of people in the second category. Not classed as unemployed but, not exactly employed either.

What is it about my wishes to get younger people to vote that upsets you? Everyone has a vote, but younger people are discouraged because they are being ignored and political activity in this country is viewed as something the Oxbridge lot do.

What is undemocratic about trying to convince younger people to register to vote? It isn't laziness, it's the sense that nothing changes that leads to apathy.

There are many people living in your precious European Union living under far worse conditions due to austerity imposed by the Germans: starving people into submission. Sounds familiar?

40% unemployed youths in Spain and 25% in France and that's what I heard on the news today.

The EU appears to be doing fantastic job for its youth, no wonder @Bluebird71 is trying to get them to vote :D

In February of this year, the EU countries with the lowest unemployment rates were:
    1. Czech Republic: 3.4%
    2. Germany: 3.9%
    3. Hungary: 4.3%
    4. Malta: 4.1%
    5. UK: 4.6%
The EU average is 8% whilst Portugal's and France's is 10%, Italy's 11.5%, Spain's is 18% and Greece's is 23.1%. Since then Britain's unemployment rate has dropped. No surprise that the countries with the highest unemployment rates are those suffering most by the Fatherland's imposed austerity measures.
