yes just going for the 6 month visit visa first then when they see she would leave on time then next time for a longer visa.

At least now by joining the forum you will get a better idea of what is required for a visit visa, the reason for your first failure is the point of is your loved one going to return home, the most difficult thing to prove to the UKVI, put a lot of effort into trying to prove this on your next application, maybe stating her job, letter from her employer giving her leave, any property owned, any children or family she has back in the Philippines, try to lay it on thick to convince them.

    Good luck with it :)

Hi deanobeano. I think you might struggle with a visit visa, especially for a wife. Any reason you're not applying for spousal visa. Assuming you have the necessary documentary evidence and can reach the financial requirement you'd stand a much better chance getting that visa.

Thats the problem i am a security guard and can not meet the financial reqirement, that why i was just trying for the visitor visa so can stay 6 months, then try again when she has gone back home.

I can understand your problem as my friend Eihab is also a SG and he had the same problem last year.
But he is working for G4S so he asked for help and his manager gave him extra shifts.
More than 6 months he worked extra shifts and did all his paper work and 2 months ago his wife got the visa and now she is come to Scotland.
