My Filipina Wife Does Low Carb

    Had my results back. I get them online. My HbA1c is low which is great. And all my cholesterol readings are in the normal range. For some reason they didn’t record a Fasting Glucose result.

    Mayo can be good or bad. Depends what’s in it. Also size matters.

    Mrs Ash had a great photo but cannot find it. If you have eaten at Five Guys you will know that you select as you go. It makes it easy to enjoy a reasonable quality burger away from home, without the bun and fries.

    Mayo or miles? I do 17-20km daily, and the gym three times a week.

    I am at an all day gym, five days a week. If I get a chance I will measure my steps. I keep an iPhone in my pocket so will try and set it up to count them. I don’t normally bother as healthy nutrition is the priority as you cannot run off a bad diet. But just to see I will count the steps.

    Is mayonnaise low carb? Absolutely. It is the top condiment on Keto and low carb diets. And, because it has almost no carbs and is high in fat, it makes an excellent choice for many keto recipes.

    I get through a full day’s physical work. Many people cannot do that.

    Low carb pancakes with raspberries, clotted cream and grated 85% chocolate. Using coconut flower instead of wheat.

    This GP’s paper on Low Carbohydrate Interventions is in the top 5% of BMJ journals. It doesn’t surprise me.
