Amazingly, I didn't actually claim that. But, nothing new there....

    Oooh, more stereotyping.

Is it a problem that I find the company of people from foreign lands enjoyable?
The economy will have no effect on my humble lifestyle if there is a downturn, might mean a bank a little less each month, that will be about it, and if it does have a derogatory effect I will just carry on regardless, I am British after all.
Ah, so you ARE a multi-millionaire.

    You miss the point completely.

You're all for immigration, providing you can live with her. Anything else is unacceptable. Hypocrisy at it's finest.

A Filipina to me is a world apart from a Polak, Lithuanian, Bulgarian, Romanian, the list goes on, the only similarity between the afore mentioned is that they are foreign nationals, I'm selective :like:

You're certainly selective. If any rule change affects you, you'd be first to moan. Of that, I am very certain.

They're not going back, apart from the Cameroon guy who left because of bigotry.

What makes you think(hope) they are? Are you hoping that some nasty literature through their letterbox will scare them away?

Unlike yourself I do not moan, I deal with ever is put in front of me, you should try that and stop moaning about the UK leaving the EU.

    Move on!

Not at all, but losing their jobs because of the economic downturn that you forecast may send them on their way.

You don't moan... what do you call your little rant about Eastern Europeans then?
Where have I forecast an economic downturn? And why do you hope that they lose their jobs? You do realise that, if jobs are lost, the jobs lost won't be selective don't you? I mean, it's not like the economy is going to say "we need to lose 1 million jobs, Romanians and Bulgarians first" is it?

Eastern Europeans are generally employed in low skilled jobs (not all before you say) and these are generally the first to go, not only that, low skilled workers find it more difficult to find another job.

Shall I get my car washed twice a week instead of once, it might help your friends out?

Are you suggesting that no British person will be affected as low skilled jobs go?

Second comment - in case anyone had any doubts that you were a bigot. ;)

Lastly, I see you haven't substantiated yet another erroneous claim you've made about me.

Well my friend I personally would have no problems paying £50 for a bottle of spirits if it meant high quality provision for the young the sick and the elderly - with highly motivated and respected staff on decent wages.

In the UK we are seeing the wholesale destruction of public services and the social system teetering on the edge of disaster. I could link to literally dozens of reports from respected academic bodies and think thanks highlighting how damaging our current policies are to the lives of tens of millions of our fellow citizens. There are also many reports how the more egalitarian Scandanavian model works and delivers for the majority of their people.

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nordic_model

Life really doesn't have to be this way - with things we ought to take for granted (adequate housing, decent social services, non-exploitative employment practices) a mere pipedream.

Things are going backwards - social mobility has stalled and gone into reverse - the average age of first time buyer is 34 (I got my first flat when I was 20 on a modest wage). We are spending billions on a defence system that isn't independent and is sucking resources from our already denuded conventional armed forces.

While at the same time we have cuts in tax for the super rich and big corporations - and odious individuals such as Philip Green and Mike Ashley rule the roost.

I think there's a better - a fairer - road to traverse. As i said I'd have been perfectly content to remain under the current constitutional arrangements IF THEY WORKED FOR THE MAJORITY OF CITIZENS - they assuredly don't.

    All the best comrade!;)

My sincerest apologies for the malapropism. I'm confident an intellectually superior being, such as yourself, knew what I was driving at.
