Oil will stay at the current low until the Saudi's decide they have killed fracking, something they may well not succeed in doing but after that it will rocket again, it is a finite resource and can only become ever more expensive in the long term unless we wean ourselves off of it.

This is very true. I have been an avid oil price watcher for the last 35 years and that has been the case. The question is how much longer will that trend continue.

Its up at a more buoyant 65 USD a barrel of Brent Crude now. Better than it was.

Yes. Or at least keep fracking at bay.

Conoco Phillips have pulled out of fracking in Poland, as of today.

I noticed quite a number of houses with solar panels fitted during our venture into North Wales.

And also noticed that they intend to crack on with tidal lagoon in Swansea Bay.

The more the merrier John, I was worried about the supply of rare earth's for solar panels but the China restriction crisis of a few years ago seems to have been alleviated by market forces i.e. new mines in the US and elsewhere.

Yeah I think someone posted about the lithium?

They have some kind of salt lake that is full of the stuff and could do billions of big batteries?
