The circumstances under which I gave my wife x pounds isnt really up for scrutiny. I feel very annoyed that I appear to be on trial for it which is not the kind of "benefit" I would seek from a forum. Whilst contributing to the topic I include my own personal circumstances / experinces as material to go into the pot in the thread. If that material then becomes used as a source of persecution then I cant see myself hanging around.

We can all pick holes in one another, if we put our minds to it.

John I happen to agree with you that sending £400 a month is not an issue, but I do think that you are reading more into the responses than is deserved, I think you are letting your emotions get into this as a result of previous threads and those little agree/disagree buttons.

I would not have read anything earlier as being a personal attack on you or me for that matter, Mike knows exactly how much I send and has shared his views with me before and I respect his view while I don't entirely agree with him in all circumstances.

Please sir, you have a lot to contribute but you should not let the thread discussions get under your skin.

Also everyone, this is all getting very off topic in unpleasant ways regards frank's original post, can we try and stick to helping him, I know I personally am bad for thread drift but we should try to stay on topic as much as we can.

Yes. We dont know fully Frank's situation. He has said that the money isnt the point, its the trust. Which makes sense. It might seem to us that he is being financially blase. But he might see it differently.

The word "ludicrous" was out of order, Oss. Andrew saw that too and said as much.

Frank. How about seeking out some of the cooler places? Baguio. Or even Tagaytay in Cavite?

An oddball indeed. Must be all the time you spend talking to yourself in your fatmobile.

I find you quite hilarious and well worth the price of admission.
To watch you descend into insults is heart-warming.
When are you leaving, did you say?
