Visa decision-Fiancee/Settlement

Anne has now received a text message from the VFS centre saying that the documents have arrived from the British Embassy. GULP!!! ...not long to wait now, I think.

May I ask sir, when did you lodge your application? I'm Diane by the way I'm still waiting for my application result... Congratulation !!!

Online Application- 5 January
Document Handover/ Biometrics (VFS Manila) - 2 February
Decision email received - 15 February.

Documents are to couriered, so should know the result in the next few days.

We won't know if Anne has her visa until she receives the package, which hopefully will be in the next few days.

When did you complete your online application and when did you submit your documents/ biometrics?

We applied for a spouse visa.

Try not to worry too much, Diane.. I believe processing times can vary from applicant to applicant, we all just have to wait and hope all will be well.

I was a little worried that Anne's application was processed so quickly, but we will just have to wait a little longer to know the outcome.

I understand that you are worried and nervous, it is a very difficult time when you are waiting for a decision which will allow you to be with the one you love, but try to be brave and strong while you are waiting.

do be aware there is a bit of a waiting time for the CFO appointment. 2 weeks delay in our case.

Our docs. were handed in 7th Dec. and a decision was made 29th Dec., but the 22 day period included the Christmas holidays and extra time to allow us to submit a late TB cert..
I'm sure the quick decision on your application can only mean good news.

Thanks for the info bigmac... Anne has already attended the CFO Seminar and now just needs her CFO Sticker once the visa is received. I believe that an appointment is not necessary if only the sticker is required and that it can only be obtained on or after the validity date on the visa....but first things first, the date is a minor issue...getting the visa is the all important thing.
