a wee update... Marilou has passed her TB test and we are currently awaiting for the results of the IELTS A1 test.. so the plan is soon as we know get the results delivered here in Mindanao we will click the submit button and pay the fee on the online visa application site..

question - once we submit the application online and book an appointment either in Manila or Cebu do we choose the appointment date to submit all our documents ? or does the Visa4UK suggest appointment dates ? we will book the CFO at the same time..

    e2a ::

Ive just learn`t there is an additional fee to apply for the visa in Cebu, does anyone know how much extra this is ?

You can book the CFO as soon as you have applied for the visa.....and even attend the seminar...but the sticker wont be issued till after the visa is issued....

Howdi... quick Q.. on the Visa4UK online application form the section - Spouse / Partner ( 3rd tab on My Application )

When it mentions Father & Mother details is this my parents or Marilou`s they're referring to ?

and hope all goes well deanobeano, but the results are given within the same day ??

e2a - Q - When did they arrive in the UK? i`m assuming i just enter my DOB ?

If the rest of the questions in that section are meant for Marilou..then it's her parents.

    Arrive in the UK...if that's directed at you...then..yes...your d o b. Is right.

This is the section titled " Spouse / Partner " so it begins asking about myself name DOB place of birth etc etc.. then it mentions FATHER & MOTHER next about dependent children.. so im not 100% sure who`s parents there referring to.. IF it`s referring to my parents i`m not in touch with my father so i have no idea where he was born or how his name appears, i know his middle name etc so not sure i should enter his name how i think it will appear..

" Given Names as stated in the passport or travel document "

Ah ok deanobeano well im hoping all goes well for you.. 8 weeks is a bit much but the wait is nearly over i guess !!

It's referring to your partner's parents.

Hello!! anyone can give me an advice. I am about to submit my documents for spouse visa application. My british husband provided financial evidence: 6 months payslip, p60, working contract and DLA. I am waiting for new update document from him to arrive. I am worried because the last pay slip he sent is dated april 15, 2016 and his DLA is under review if he is still entitled for this. Those documents i mentioned are enough for my financial evidence? And i dont book yet an appoinment for the application. Im worried that his payslip will not be updated since its difficult for him to get a new payslip because he need to call the head offfice and send to his email in short it will takes time. Please help...

If his 6 months wage slips prove he earns £18,600 then there is no problem, note that any payslips and bank statements need to be no more than 28 days old at the time of the online submission.

hi gigi--welcome to the forum. if you havent yet submitted your online application--i suggest you review the sponsorship rules for DLA ---isnt this one of the exempt categories ?

Thx for the reply... so confusing the online application, you would think they would explain a bit better who`s info there looking for, the whole process is stressful enough but the online application certainly isn't helping...

i really appreciate the forum members on here !!

Thanks for the reply.. yes on his p60 he earned more than 18,600. But his last payslip dated march 15, 2016 According to my husband p60 is enough eventhough payslip is not update. I want to ask if this is true. Is it necessarry to submit bank statement? For accomodation the documents i will submit are photos of the house, council tax bill 1year from 2016 to 2017, tenancy agreement with landlord signature and my husband/sponsor signature.he is renting a council property under his name. Is this enough evidence for accomodation? Thanks and god bless

You will need a letter from the council, saying you can stay there.

Just a quickie... is it possible to request the whole visa application supporting documents to be returned ?? Even we could pick them up in Cebu ? If not then what is returned ?

All your original documents will be returned after the decision has been made, remember you must provide copies of them.

Take copies of the online form and the VAF4A2 as well as it will come in handy for your next leave to remain application. Its up to you of course if you want to make copies of pictures, chat logs and so on.
