The main documents you need to copy are marriage and birth certificates, any tax returns/P60, Decree Absolute if applicable, basically any original documents that you may need to produce in the UK for purposes other than the visa application in the future. As mentioned before, it will be good for you to have a copy of the complete application for future applications minus the reams of chat logs and the like
Thx Timmers that`s what i was looking for.. also the documents that are returned these can be picked up in Cebu where we hand them in ? as we will be in Cebu to get the CFO sticker if all goes well ! e2a :: found the answer.. - How do I collect my documents and passport back? When you attend the VFS Global visa application centre, while submitting the application you can either ask the staff at the counter to courier (optional) the documents and passport back or collect the documents and passports from the VFS Global application centre where you submitted your visa application. http://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/philippines/frequently_asked_questions.html
Hi guys! I need some help please. My wife and I have submitted the application form online and have booked an appointment already. However, on the questions where it stated Spouse/Partner - Family details, Mother and Father, we accidentally put my wife's parent's information and not mine, as her spouse? There's no way of changing this now as it's already been done. Could I just write a cover letter stating the mistakes we've done and correct them on the application form? We've only just realised this now. Thanks!
Hi just a quickie.. since we are applying for a settlement visa Marilou can legally work in the UK right ? We have no plans for her to work for months after arriving but we're wondering when.. I'm sure it's just the fiance or non settlement visa applicants who CAN'T ??
What if there's a piece of evidence missing? Is the case worker allowed to dismiss the application out of hand or ask for the document(s) to be submitted at a later date? Doubt if they have any room for discretion.........
Just make sure you get the application spot on before submitting, a case worker having to use his discretion is not where you want to be
But surely every case is different - there are more variations than possibilities of winning the lottery - nobody can get everything spot on can they? - I am about to put 2 grand at risk here and it's making me sick with worry
So .......just to reassure me before I 'hit the button' - I believe I have provided evidence that: · That we are legally married · That our relationship is genuine and ongoing · That I earn above the stipulated GBP18600 per annum · That we have adequate accommodation in the UK As well as having filled out all the forms and provided 2 cover letters Is that enough?
