what should I include in the evidence?
    so far I have got
supporting letters from myself and my girlfriend, my parents, her friends and my employer.
my 6 months bank statements and payslips and p60
her 6 months bank statements and payslips
    her employment contract
her approval of absence from her employer
I have taken screen shots of flight prices for her flight here
screenshots of facebook and Skype and kakao talk to prove we have been in contact for last two years
    my birth certificate
    my mortgage statement
    my utility bills

    have I missed anything?

    Steven,

I would like to make a suggestion. It would cost you nothing except the time to compile it. That is to compile a document of plan and intent. This would need to written, principally from your gf. And signed by her. And maybe signed by yourself.

The document would include your gfs intinerary and plans for her stay. And plans for her departure and return home including return to work etc etc.

I know you can say that anyone could write it, which is true, but if you get the balance right without going over the top, it would at least be a declaration of intent to enjoy a visit to the UK with a return to the Philippines at the end of the trip. You (your gf) would have to try and leave no doubt in the mind of the UKVI that your gf intends to return to the Philippines at the end of the visa time frame.

Some advocate trying to apply for one of these without mentioning a bf or fiance. My feeling is that if you are going to be honest for this application, you might aswell go the whole hog without denying the relationship, and ensure the UKVI are in no doubt that your gf, at that point in time intends to return home.

Maybe it's best not to include so much about yourself? Being in a relationship with someone in UK might actually work against her.

Or have you already done that under "supporting letters"?

This is the debateable point. But Steven has (probably) already revealed enough for the UKVI to know already.

It either has to be covered up completely or fully inclusive. What do you think Graham?

I ve tried to include a lot about myself so that they have proof of where she is staying and that I can fund her visit

Can you think of any other compelling reasons for your gf return? That you could include.

in her letter she has said that she return back for her family and work commitments, Inthe letter she has said about having to return a couple of times. in her approval of absence letter from her employer they have said she must return back to work by 2nd November 2015 or it will go down as unauthorised absence without approval

Are there members of her family that depend on her return? Every little helps.

my lady was in the UK on a 4 year student visa--i met her in the 4th year. she returned to the filis--( home--business--kids etc ) just before the visa was up.

a year later she applied for a visit visa--using an agent-----she was refused on a banking technicality--but applied again herself a few weeks later--and got one. but she was sponsored by her sister--settled here. she stayed 5 momths--mostly with me.

well to be honest she does not live with her family and they wouldn't be depending on her return as such, but maybe I could get them to write a letter to say about them knowing of her visit and the date she will be returning etc

The problem I see with the above is that there is nothing supporting the idea she will return home and that is key to the application.

    Sorry for being so negative.

its ok timmers , it is a problem because how can you prove it. I can only say that her family and work is the only things to return for

The fact that it is extremely difficult to give evidence that the missus will return is just fine as far as the UKVI is concerned, its the best possible excuse they have to turn down a visa application, the odds are heavily stacked in their favour without a shadow of a doubt.

It reminds me of the Fiance visa application a little where you cannot really prove intent to marry, you just have to leave them convinced of your intention.

My wifes sister, friend and mother came to visit us a few months back and they had no problems at all getting the visa, as soon as a love interest is seen by the UKVI then the odds start stacking up against you.

Its cheap going for the visit visa, and if you fail then at least you can use the application as proof you are in a sustaining relationship when you apply for the settlement visa later on, that's a more positive note from me :)
