I work at a desk and never altered my activity levels at any time during the last year, I'm still a lazy inactive bum, always have been but I don't appear to have lost any lean tissue and I certainly feel the benefits now of being a lot lighter. But yeah that head injury looked nasty and if you were stuck at home when you are normally active it would have had an impact.
I did 3 months here working 3 months there for 10 years in total phils lived in angeles city, apartment bills around 300 pounds a month now we are in U/k on final visa have two kids now both british, visa fees will kill you financially with the proposed new charges we have spent around 10000 pounds on visas just for my wife including NHS etc, i would go to Damagutte try it out see how you get on i had a few live in romances before i found a decent wife , don;t jump on the first one who shows interest in you find a good one preferably without kids the woman i met with kids always had problems, go phils enjoy yourself meet plenty of girls try and find a good one mine has been great and a very good wife
Colin if you are still reading this thread join PI@night a forum based in Angeles City that talks about life in phils etc visas all kind of things,. a bit of advice i was given on first visit to phils me and my 3 mates landed in boracay, found hardly any single girls there, went in a bar and an old welsh ,man said what you doing here boys said looking for a girlfriend he said you are in the wrong place go to angeles city he said of you cannot find the right girl there give up, many girls there working the bars the factories on the base and all the restuarants etc plenty single with no kids virgins stil lat 30 plus working on the base, when you land you will have what they call PESOnallity and plenty will show interest, just my thoughts on the many years i spent in /angeles loved every minute of it, but met my wife had a baby there and decided best come back U/k miss all my mates there big ex pat community there and miss the life there subic bay not far and boracay 1 hour flight from clark good life there , you should experience it before any trips to Damagutee area although a lot of my mates go that area on motor bike rides and say its nice.
