yep--at alum bay--near freshwater. in all the years ive lived here on the island--over 40 years...ive never been there!
My pub owing pal will be pleased to hear this July 5th naaaaahhhh, I'm going to be a hippy again July 31st naaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh not a hope in hell. August 1st, now that is interesting, you've given me an in Mike to introduce some climate science and probably some politics Ok this is not really science this is just my speculation, aircraft create contrails, contrails can maybe seed clouds, contrails have an effect called radiative forcing. It appears that radiative forcing from contrails reduces the difference in temperature between night and day at night the cloud cover keeps the heat in and during the day while they reflect heat all the time the clouds also encourage heat to be reflected back to the ground. Lack of aviation seems to have cleared the clouds, this is just my speculation there is zero evidence for this it just feels like that over the last 10 or 11 weeks, the clearer the skies the more radiation will escape from the planet, and clear skies equal sunny days. I don't a remember a time like this since 1976 when there was such a long period of sun, but back then I was out on a motorcycle every day
Andy Gill, died of coronavirus in February possibly: https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/news/coronavirus-andy-gill-death-gang-of-four-catherine-mayer-a9524071.html
As it says they will probably never know but they are certainly leaning towards the virus circulating in Hubai province in November, apparently no animal sources tested at the wet Market showed traces of the virus, As for Andy Gill unless they had retained blood samples and could check for antibodies we will likely never know. If the origin is indeed significantly earlier it is very strange that there has not been more divergence in the genome.
This information has been shared here before, no one denies that some flu seasons are worse than others. Current figures since March are something like 56,000 excess deaths in two months, and that's not flu season, again and again almost everywhere in the world measures have been taken to reduce the impact of this virus, uncontained projections I've shown you those many many times, we could have had anything between 200,000 and 600,000 dead as it is we have 40,000 deaths that have been tested and probably more than 50,000 in reality so far. This is not over not by a long shot.
They think that you need to understand the disease at the start of the design of a vaccine. Lots of bits of the Spike proteins look like bits of human cells (maybe) and the virus has other ways to get into cells other than the spike proteins. The virus also appears to enter brain cells, blood cells and immune cells. It can possibly be transported in food. The virus is thereby killing off erythrocytes, blood cells which is where the late stage breathing problems come from. They are trying to cover all the cell binding mechanisms for this virus in their vaccine design. Basically they hope that by being clever and understanding the virus they might be able to make a vaccine that works. I'm not a microbiologist.
Some sources believe Covid 19 could have been around since August: https://www.rte.ie/news/2020/0609/1146282-covid19-coronavirus-tracker/
Thanks Malcolm, same problem again the antibiotics two weeks ago did too good a job and completely healed the outside which meant that that the abscess had a merry day growing inside again. 5 more PR exams this first two resulted in it perforating which was a blessed relief, the rest were just agony.
What pain killers did they put you on, Jim? I remember a medic on an offshore pipe-lay barge once telling me he dispensed morphine (which he called "in-flight movies") for serious pain. Isn't morphine very addictive though?
I dont take pain killers Mike, I'm not in pain at the moment, when it blocks up I am in pain but as long as it drains I am ok. A lot of them in here get Morphine and yes it is addictive.
