Few questions on Appendix 2. Thanks

1.6) How often do you meet?
We video chat daily from last 5 years. Can I answer Daily?
Sponsor visited Philippines only once in 2016, and spent 1 month together, when we also got married. The box is too small to explain, so how do I answer this question?

1.7) when did you last see sponsor?
Is it asking in person or video chat is ok?

1.12) What age were you when you married?
Guidance says enter MM/YY format. Usually people write age as 40 years and 5 months, but shall I write 05/40?

1.20) Are either you or your sponsor currently married to with another person?
Sponsor and applicant are currently married to each other, so shall I answer YES? Or is it asking if either of us is married to 3rd person?

1.25) Do you and your sponsor have shared financial responsibilities?
Applicant and sponsor live in different countries, so the answer is NO. Shall I say, we will have joint financial responsibilities once she arrives in UK?

3.2) What is the financial requirement you are required to meet?
I will choose first box as we have no child. Do I still need to fill the box below and write £18600?

    Q) If I use Cash Savings, then shall I leave Part 3A to Part 3E blank?

1.6 i think only person to person meet up counts. There is a portion that asks how do you keep in touch? I guess you can explain the same thing in the notes.

1.7 is the same as above

1.20 i think you can say you are married to each other

1.25 we answered no but I believe joint financial responsibilities back in ph counts so it depends on your situation.

    3.2 yes just write 18,600

Q not sure. Other members can help.

1.6 Meeting in person. Answer "Varies"

1.7 When you last see him IN PERSON.

1.12 I don't understand why it asks for month and date when you should just put your exact age.

1.20 It says another person so answer NO.

1.25 Just say NO. No need to explain.

3.2 Just tick the first box.

State "No" and play safe, give them any details about the visa refusal you have, a reference number would be good if given.

@Iainchelle, you said 6 6.3. Which form are you speaking about? In online application, the question is not in section 6, and there is no such question in Appendix 2

For exact date of rejection, you can look stamp on your previous passport

    Oh sorry, "Yes" :)

Its better to be straight with them regarding any refusals, you could say no but you would be telling porky pies (lies) :)

My wife had a UK visit visa declined, its no big deal and should not reflect on your settlement application.

The GWF reference will tell them everything they need to know.

Thanks Anna. So it means, my wife will not bring Appendix 2 to VFS appointment...

The agency applied for my japan tourist visa after that they return my passport. My previous passport doesn't have any stamp of refusal i also check every pages everything is blank. So I'll just say yes and write a few explanation to be safe.

That's right if you can't find the reference number or if there is no stamp refusal just say YES and explain it. It wouldn't really affect your application but always be upfront about any refusals in any country so the ECO wouldn't think you are hiding something.

Someone once said to me that there is no such thing as a free lunch. But there certainly seems to be here.
