Was David Cameron responsible for (Tory MP and former Culture minister) Maria Miller's expenses scandal?

Its long been the case that people who are opposed to Farage and UKIP views look for the slightest reason to dish the dirt on him and the party.

Of course each individual is responsible for their own expenses and should be brought to book if they are caught fiddling, blame and punish them personally not the party they belong to.

Coming from someone who thinks the term "liberal" is a form of insult, I really don't know whether to laugh or yawn.

Interesting from someone who has advocated a gunpowder plot, and been on a good old fashioned witch hunt against those who voted in a way he doesn't agree with.

The word liberal in a political sense amuses me because I get Reggie Perrin flashbacks of Clegg, Farron, Ashdown and Kennedy (bless him), I cannot take anything they say seriously as there outlook and beliefs are so far away from mine :)

Let's just hope that once article 50 is triggered everybody works together to make a success of it, rather than trying to bugger up the process out of spite and narrow mindedness.

I often have to check back to see if I am imagining things, but this thread backs up my statement. Particularly the one where you named three treacherous lords, and attempted to assassinate their characters (albeit on a forum where only 4 people ever respond).

The amusing thing is, you're accusing Lord Heseltine, Lord Bedwellty and a few others of being on the EU gravy train, whilst staunchly advocating that the one politician named in this thread who IS on the European Gravy Train gets a knighthood.

Nice work if you can get it.

Good news for you Bluebird, the man with the 70s hair Guy Verhofstadt says you EU lovers can have a special arrangement.

    Are we happy now? :)

Do you really believe that Lord Kinnock of Bedwellty and his family are NOT on the EU gravy train??? :erm:

You appear somewhat out of touch...
Nigel wants to end the UK's involvement in the EU gravy train, others are just bought EU troughers who have little regard for our country and people.

I must say, I'll feel much better once May has triggered article 50, I will feel then that we are finally on our way home back to where we should be.

Longer term I am looking forward to hearing of the EU woes and thinking how glad we are out of it. At the very least because of Brexit there will be a two speed EU with the poorer countries lagging far behind the likes of Germany and France.

I really feel like we are getting our independence back.

I'd personally like her to trigger Article 50 on the 25th March, a highly symbolic date for the EU as it will be the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome which is the founding treaty for the EEC (aka the Common Market). But I think she'll wait a day or two to allow them to party before handing them the document to add to their monumental hangovers. She needs to get the two Lords' (so-called) Amendments voted out by the Commons first and for the Lords to return the Bill unamended - a bit of parliamentary ping-pong.

I was thinking it would be good to trigger in then but I think the EU might become rather peeved :)

Might become?!! They are peeved now and Juncker is having another of his delusional episodes believing that Britain will reapply to join - is he drunk again?
