well lets just just say NOW then. save all the hassle. IF we apply on the 9th March - what MONTH is realistic to ask for for her to come over??? ALL my docs are ready - I cant go through all that hassle of compiling stuff etc again. it will all be out of date !?!

Just put a date three months ahead of the application date if you want to do it now.

Is there a problem with her coming to the UK straight away?

Because if you apply by March 9 the expected travel date is no later than 8th of June 2017 so mention a date which is May or first week of June.

    Then go for it!

Sooner she is in the UK the sooner you start the five year route.

I have some older members of the family who need looking after and she will get paid for doing it - so not a bad start - she is a fully trained nurse after all.

After 2.5 years she will apply for FLR(M) and then another 2.5 years in the UK.

Don't worry about the next FLR, get the initial entry visa under your belt first, the FLR is easy :)
