    Hello everyone - I'm back !

    What a whirlwind - anyway!

    Highlights

Her passport did not turn up - still delayed at passport office - so that was over 6 weeks at least - so we couldn't proceed.

Still managed to print of relevant docs and fill
Forms in together - missing some bits like my divorce date and my mother (sponsors) passport details.

Got scammed for £500 off my card - not sure if I got done in a shop or at airport - very clever though how they do it.

Had a wonderful time in Palawan - hired a boat with a crew of 2 for £20 and had it all day for a trip to pandan island - beautiful.

Severe jet lag and aches !! No time to recover.

    One question missing...

Do I have to get an acknowledgement of our marriage in the Philippines in the U.K. ? I remember taking a blue from my civic centre to P letting them
Know I was getting married in 2014- not sure how that works thereafter.

    We keep going !

    Thanks all xxx

So I just carry on regardless - it won't affect the application .

    Cheers

Sorry to bore you folks - all seems to be in place for another attack .

We have until the 20th April to meet the cut off for the next pay slip to fit in the appointment .

I am about to pay - but what happens to the form as I'm in the Uk and she is there

Do I print it off or can she do that?

Or can I even give her my card details to do it herself ?

You can both log in and print it off. You can log in and pay it and she can log in and print it off herself.

Its only fair I keep you updated - well......................calamity strikes. The wife has fallen sick and is at present recovering.

What this means is that the application will have to be delayed again - paperwork will of course be out of date - and will have to start the whole process again as she wont be getting to the appointment in time.

IM OFF WORK NOW - SO ITS ON HOLD.

I dont want to stir the nest but is a tourist visa a hard thing to come by...??? getting a bit desperate now

A bit tricky but if you can satisfy the ECO that she will go back to the Philippines after her visit then it's worth a try. :)
