Agree with above, you should be alright with what you have. But if you do decide to ask another copy from HR, you can say it's for legal purposes. No need to elaborate. That's what I did. x

Hi! Back again with loads of questions :) I apologize if I am asking the obvious in some questions. Just really confused and simple questions are so hard to answer. So here it goes

    1. Filled-up the online form and picked Settlement-Settlement-Marriage. Is this correct?

    2. Should we put exact date and location of intended wedding (ex. September 1, 2017, XXX Hall, London)? We have provisional booking with the City Council but no confirmed date yet, I understand I must be in the UK to give notice personally.

    3. On VAF4A question on sponsor - When did he arrive in the UK - asking for a specific date dd/mm/yyyy. My fiance is a British Citizen, I've put in his birthday, does this make sense at all?

    4. On VAF4A question for applicant - Do you intend to work in the UK? Yes/No. Provide details if yes. I know I will not be allowed to work for 6 mos on Fiancee Visa but after this I do intend to work to help out my husband of course.

    5. What will happen next if I click the "Confirm Application" button in the visa4UK website? :)

    6. Printed VAF4A - can I print this from the visa4UK website, is this the same form? I noticed questions online and in the form are not exactly the same. Or does this mean fill-out VAF4A by hand and print it?

    7. Appendix2 - fill-out by hand not online?

    8. Link to book VFS appointment please - can't find in the VFS website the option to register and book an appointment. I wanted to book an appointment even before I complete the online application at visa4UK so I can secure the schedule

    9. My travel date is less than 3 months from the time I submit my application (2 mos only). Is this ok? We do intend to avail of the Priority Service but I am aware there are delays right now.

I know this is lengthy so I would really appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!

    1. Yes that's correct.

    2. Put your intended date and location of wedding even if it's not confirmed yet.

    3. That's right put his birth date that's what I did.

    4. Put NO since you can't work on fiance visa. No need to explain.

    5. Once you confirm it you won’t be able to edit it anymore.

    6. The VAF4A is the online application form you don't need to print a separate one.

    7. You can fill that by hand or use a PDF editor.

    8. It's just on their website. Can't really look for it now I'm on the train station :D

    9. Yes that's fine.

Thanks @Brom27 that's so nice of you answering my silly questions while you're in the train station! :)

I have seen before the book appointment link in the vfs website it was just there, for some reason I cant find it now. I actually registered for citizenship application without realizing it until now lol Is it correct that that vfs appointment is done in the vfs website and not in visa4uk?

I thought I have to submit an online VAF4A and a printed one to be scanned together with the rest of the requirements.

re (4)----you dont have to wait 6 months to work. once you get married you can apply for your first FLR straight away----same day service at a UKVI office if you want to--£500 extra. you then get your BRP in a few days and can then start work.

we got married april 30th last year--first FLR applied for at croydon office on the 17th may---same day service----brp a few days later. she was working in june.

Thanks. Yes the IELTS test is booked for in 2 weeks. How long does the application normally take to get a response? Is the wedding information enough? How much do i need to provide

A letter from the applicant as well if you can. And as bigmac stated the English and TB test are lacking on your list. Everything else seems fine.

What application? The visa itself? Or the English test?

The provisional booking should suffice. If you have engagement ring you can include that. Or if yoh are looking for wedding rings online you can include that as well. But really, the booking is enough.

Sorry how long does the visa normally take.

It seems longer now. 90 working days for a standard and the priority they don't meet the 10 working days promise it takes ages.

all i sent was a provisional registry office booking----and a receipt for her ring.

priority is--or was £500. may have gone up.

i didnt see mine for 2 years---and sent in 1 screenshot page for each month of facebook messages--24 all in all...as a sample. i doubt they even get looked at. but i know some send in kilos of paper !
