As I have repeatedly pointed out in this thread, not everyone is in the same circumstances, so I find your generalisations rather crass.
All this sending money to the Philippines baffles me, what did the ladies do for money before they met the English chaps with the big pockets? To me it is buying affection, no wonder they come to the UK, everything's free and their worries are over. Good work if you can get it
Not sure that is quite right. In our case we were engaged at that point and she had no work. I could easily afford the 400 a month. Sure, for some its a lot. For others its peanuts. For me it was affordable. Once we were married and she was waiting for her visa it continued and why not, she was my wife. Now that she is here she doesnt work but looks after me and the baby and I still treat her well. Whats wrong with that?
I can see your point, but I think you are putting a twist on this topic that isnt there. At least in our case, anyway. I am not too keen on any inference that my Mrs is a money grabber or can be bought. She isnt like that. And its time to call it a day when people on a FilBrit forum start putting that slant across in my direction.
Try not to read between my lines, I just give honest opinions not directed at anyone here, you cannot disagree with what I say, you know it happens as well as I do.
I don't and will not go in for any personal attacks on anyone. Wouldn't it be a little boring here if we all thought the same and had the same politics? We have good debate and fun here on occasion, you cant disagree with that either
