    Yo
Btw, just asking, your partner is self employed correct? Just that i didnt see any contract, pay slips etc. as long as the financial stuff is taken cared of then you are good to go. I have less stuff than what you have provided.

    Goodluck with your application!

You don't really need this. This is for dependent family members, other types of visa application. But I know a few members here who applied for a fiance visa included this one. This isn't really a requirement for a fiance visa but you may feel free to include for your peace of mind. ;)

Yeah I'm aware it's not a requirement that's why I am surprised its included. I will send it though as I knew someone who applied fiance visa with SU07 and still approved with the visa. It wouldn't hurt.

Yes he is self employed but we are not applying under that category. He has properties that are rented so we are using that instead under Category C income from non employment. :)

Anyway thank you so much ;)

    Hi @Brom27 , just a few questions:

    1. You have to apply online first before you can book an appointment for the docs, right?

    2. was it easy to book an appointment? I'm a bit worried because their schedule might be full and I wouldn't be able to pass our docs before the 28-day rule expires.

    3. What are the modes of payment for the visa fees? Did you pay through credit card or did you do bank transfers?

Sorry for the dumb questions, I haven't made an account yet in vfs online. We're still compiling the docs.

    1. Yes you have to confirm the application first and then you can select dates for your appointment.

    2. It was easy I think (it's actually my solicitor who did it). We're actually booked on December 2 but moved it easily on the 29th. I think there's many slots in Cebu than in Manila.

    3. We paid thru credit card.

It's okay we've all been there. When do you think you'll e ready for submission?

Thanks @Brom27 , follow up, did you apply online even if you havent received your sponsor's docs yet from UK?

We're just waiting for the bank statements and letter from her landlord to be released. I think she'll be able to send the docs by friday this coming week so im thinking if I should alredy apply online or should I wait for the docs to arrive first just to be sure?

We applied while I was waiting for my dcos thats why put December 2 to give time for docs to arrive but since I got it we rebooked it to an early date. :) I suggest you book ahead. Are you applying in Manila?

Okay. I think i'll do the same. I'll apply this week. Yes, im applying in Manila.

The appointment for the docs got me worried because i've read some posts here in the group that some members have to get the premium service so they could pass their docs before it reaches the 28-day rule.

Okay good luck. Just make sure your documents especially bank statements are updated. I'm not really worried with 28 day rule since we're not affected with that. Are you applying under Category A?

the 28 day rule is from when you do the online application--and pay the fee. not when you hand in at VFS.

Oh I thought the 28 day rule is for the documents. I mean for example, my partner's bank statement was released nov 25 we only have until dec 23 to pass the docs. If we pass the docs after dec 23 it's already expired since 28 days have already.passed since it was released.

It means you have until Dec 23 to book the appointment online. But you wouldn't want to risk that so maybe you get a more updated bank statement as well as payslips to make sure the 28-day rule won't be an issue.

You could submit online already if you're sure of the details you need to fill and book for appointment on the day you want but allow for contingencies (hopefully there won't be any delays) on arrival of your documents to the Philippines.
