Hi @Brom27 , did you pass your docs today? How did it go? Any update? Thanks!

Hi @katkatmachine yes I lodged the application already in Cebu around 11 am today. My appointment was 11:50 but I was entertained early since there's only few applicants today. Had a hell of a job to get things done today but somehow managed it. Was very pleased to get rid of all the documents today. :D

    How's yours going? :)

Okay so I'm beginning to question my application now. I want to ask you all if you remember how many passport sized pictures you submitted? I have one attached on the application form but I tried to give another one but the lady gave it back. Now should I be worried? (I think I'm overthinking)

I had this same question before. LOL. In my experience, I almost forgot to include it in my application. When I realized, I immediately told the staff and handed her my photos. But she only took one.

When I got my visa and documents back, the photo was nowhere to be found.

    You'll be fine. ;)

So you didn't attach one on the application form itself? If that's the case you only submitted one then?

If so, that's a relief for me. Thank you tipipay :D

No, I didn't attach it on the form. I also asked here before, some members didn't attach their photo, that's what I did. Also, the staff didn't complain or whatsoever about it.

Just relax, and watch a series. :D

They dont need it now. The lady said they have changed the requirements around aug and its taken at biometric room (photos and fingerprints) at the time of application.

I double checked and said I remember all my application handled by VFS including 2 tourist visa to the UK and others for shengen (the last one was May 2016), they were very particular with the photo sizes and background color.

I see. I didn't know about that but I'm surprised what they need this photo for because my visit visa pic was from the biometric taken at VFS which was an awful picture, no edit at all whatsoever. :D

Hahah I thought it's just me coz I really look like I was knocked down in the street :D But anyway it's not like we're showing them to everyone what's important is we got the visa regardless of the pic :D

hey @Brom27, i noticed, you didn't include cenomar in the forms you passed. isn't that necessary?

Sorry I was gonna reply and click the wrong button. Cenomar doesn't apply to me really and I wasn't married before. Are you? Not sure if that applies to you.

but isn't that a proof that you're single and free to marry?

If you're not married before that's not a requirement. CENOMAR is to show that previous marriages have been devoid and you are free to marry again but really you don't need it, unless you're married before, again, are you?

oh okay. i haven't been married before so i guess i wont be needing it. i also saw someone posted here in the forum that the ECO doesn't really need CENOMAR but i noticed a lot of members here are still including it in their application that's why i asked.

i think i wont include this anymore. at least i will save a few hundred pesos since i won't be requesting for this anymore. hahaha. thanks again!

Sorry I might be confusing myself here. CENOMAR is a certificate of singleness or that you haven't married before. So I think for me I don't need a CENOMAR since I am on same sex relationship and obviously there's no marriage for same sex here so there would be no doubt on ECO part that I am single and free to marry. I'm not sure if I explained it right but I don't think you need a CENOMAR. If you want to be sure you can get one :)
