For people who wanted to go for priority, CENOMAR is needed.
    See link: https://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/philippines/user_pay_services.html

Customers using the PV service when applying for a settlement visa are asked to ensure that they provide the following documents at the time of submission, failure to do so will mean that your application will not be processed within the specified 10 working days:
    Spouse/civil partner and marriage

    • CENOMAR – for applicant and also for sponsor (if Filipino)
    • Death certificate – if previous husband/wife is deceased

I don't know for those who are applying visas for same sex marriage.
@Brom27 has a point since we have no same sex marriages in the Philippines. But I'm not sure if there's an exemption on this.

Just a thought: If you're in a same sex relationship now doesn't mean you can't be in a relationship/could've gotten married to an opposite sex before.

Anyways, there was a "mini argument" about this before. Just look for that thread. Some members said CENOMAR won't really apply since in a fiance visa the marriage will take place in the UK, different country means different jurisdiction, different laws. In short, Philippine law won't apply in the UK. Hope I made my thoughts clear.

I can't say I'm correct but I just included one for my own peace of mind. Hopefully, other members who has more knowledge about this can clarify this up.

You have a point there @tipipay. Although I've read experiences from others who have submitted CENOMAR and got the visa and also who did not submit one but then got the visa. But I've never heard with same sex partners who submitted CENOMAR so I'm not really bothered. :D

Hi @Brom27, regarding the SU07, did your solicitor signed the 2nd page of the undertaking form? It says FOR OFFICIAL USE only, so i am not sure if i will just leave it blank or will ask a solicitor to sign it..
I've read some forum saying that SU07 is not required for fiance visa..but i just opt to do so to..

It's not required really. But still I sent it with the rest of my docs. Now that you asked there's actually no signature from our solicitor on the next page I'm not sure if they're the official responsible for it, no idea:D

Maybe you should just leave it blank and let the sponsor (your partner) sign the undertaking.

It is for the official checking the application to sign on the second page no other person should.

As said in the so called mini argument, the CENOMAR is required for the priority service not the regular application as @Maharg pointed out :)

This isn't really required for a fiance visa. The SU07 form is for dependent family members which is a different visa.

I never submitted one, as advised by other members on this forum, and got the visa. ;)

Some people do submit the SU07 but it is not a requirement for the settlement visa has you say, personally I didn't submit one but people will continue to submit it :)

Thanks everyone..by the way,are there any members here that submitted an expired passport of their uk sponsors? My british partner hasnt got valid passport.it expired 2 years ago..he didnt bother getting a new one as he is not keen to travel due to his back problem..is submitting an expired passport of my british partner could be a ground of refusal? I am planing to submit his birth cert,a photo copy of his drivers licence, photo copy bus pass and his blue parking badge to support his expired passport.. Will this enough to prove his british nationality?

You can submit his full birth certificate together with one other document like driving license. You can send the expired passport as well to be sure.

I'm sure. We all just wanted to get that visa. Thus, submitting as many docs as we can. :D

And I never heard of refusal saying 'you sent too many documents' but the case is always 'lack of documents', so better safe than be sorry later. Send many docs but keep it simple :D

    Soooo trueeee! :D

That's why send as many as you can but be cautious not to confuse the ECO. Example: If you're applying under category A (employment), don't submit your (applicant) bank statements or savings because that might just confuse them. The main requirement on this category is on the sponsor's side.

I've heard horror stories about it on other sites. Application was rejected because the ECO had the wrong impression.

Exactly. And it's a shame hearing those experiences knowing how hard they tried to prove financial evidence and provided more but turned out to work against them.
