I just want to ask if when did you submit your supporting documents and biometrics done? Did you avail the priority service? My application is already 19 days now.. Still waiting :)

I've never really heard someone who applied from Philippines who got the decision in 60 days. It's usually until 30-40 days. Some got it slightly before or after that. But then it always varies, depends on the number of applicant. My 60 days won't be up until last week of February but I'm really hopeful to get a result early January :D

I'm a little bit stress and over thinking I put my intended travel date on December 15 as I wrote on my intention letter that I wanted to spend my first Christmas in the uk with my fiancé..

just to clarify--you will still need to submit 6 months bank statements showing salary paid in.

Don't stress over it. Even if you won't get the result before Christmas as long as you'll get the visa then that's the most important thing. I can tell you there's still more Christmas coming and I'm sure this won't be the last. ;)

Most applications are processed within 60 days.

Number of days to process application 10 days 15 days 30 days 60 days 90 days

I think what @tipipay is trying to say is that if you are the applicant you don't need to send your bank statements for 6 months as this won't be taken into account anyway. If the applicant is stating his/her employment he/she could just send the latest bank statement and payslip to prove this, not the whole 6 months. :)

I know someone who applied last year on December 15 (not priority) and got the result in January 8 which is very fast considering its not priority, which is I'm holding on to, kinda. Lol but times have change now might take a bit longer but I want to spend my Christmas and New Year here with family and friends because once I get my visa I'm not sure if I'll be home every year for the special occasion. :(:D

I actually thought of spending my first Christmas and New Year with my partner in the UK but I thought 'hey what about your family?'. Haha so we agreed that I will spend my Christmas here now for my family and friends. I know this won't be the last though :D And yes you can book an appointment in advance if you like. ;)

Haha yes as always. But hey I'm not trying to make you change your decision. If you want to spend Christmas there, it's still your choice ;) :D

No, what he means is you won't get a CFO stamp until you get the visa. Once you get the visa then that's the time you can get the stamp :)
